HORIZON-MISS-2025-03-OCEAN-01: Blue Parks - Towards a coherent European network of strictly protected areas for restoring healthy and productive marine ecosystems | Research and Innovation:  focuses on establishing a coherent European network of strictly protected Blue Parks. The call supports research and innovation aimed at restoring marine biodiversity and ecosystem health, aligning with the EU Mission to Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030 and contributing to the implementation of the EU Biodiversity Strategy.

HORIZON-MISS-2025-03-OCEAN-02: A toolbox for public authorities to address marine plastics and litter from river-to-ocean: focuses on developing a comprehensive toolbox to support public authorities in tackling plastic pollution and marine litter from rivers to the ocean. The call supports innovation and practical solutions to prevent, monitor, and reduce pollution across freshwater and marine ecosystems, aligning with the EU Mission to Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030 and contributing to the implementation of the Zero Pollution Action Plan and Circular Economy Action Plan.

HORIZON-MISS-2025-03-OCEAN-03: Digital technologies and energy transition in fisheries and/or aquaculture.  The call supports innovation to reduce environmental and carbon footprints, enhance resource efficiency, and strengthen resilience and competitiveness within the blue food sector. It contributes to delivering on the European Green Deal, the Farm to Fork Strategy, and the EU's energy transition objectives for a sustainable blue economy.

The call supports collaborative projects that integrate nature-based solutions, pollution reduction, and circular economy practices to restore biodiversity while enhancing climate resilience. It contributes to the implementation of the Biodiversity Strategy, the Zero Pollution Action Plan, and regional sustainable development priorities.

It contributes to the implementation of the Zero Pollution Action Plan, the EU Climate Adaptation Strategy, and the Mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities.

The call facilitates networking, knowledge sharing, and cooperation among regional demonstrators, stakeholders, and communities. It aims to enhance the impact, coherence, and scalability of Mission activities through effective governance and collaborative approaches. This call supports the coordination and governance of Mission Lighthouse initiatives, fostering collaboration to accelerate progress towards the goals of the EU Mission to Restore our Ocean and Waters.

BlueLightS second call for schools. The BlueLightS project offers funding for primary, secondary, and vocational schools in Europe and associated countries to develop creative, student-led projects that promote ocean and water literacy. The call supports hands-on learning that engages students with aquatic environments and encourages them to take meaningful action.
